Dr. Pranay T. Ramdev, founder and president of Vascular, Interventional & Vein Associates (VIVA), is Fellowship trained and Board Certified in Vascular Surgery. Dr. Ramdev received his Medical Degree from Dartmouth Medical School, (NH), and completed his training with a fellowship in Vascular and minimally invasive Endovascular Surgery at Harvard University in Boston, MA.
Before opening his medical practice on Florida's Treasure Coast, Dr. Ramdev was appointed to the faculty at the University of Miami / Miller School of Medicine as Assistant Professor of Vascular Surgery. There he trained vascular surgery interns and residents and performed numerous vascular, endovascular and vein procedures at Jackson Memorial Hospital, one of Florida's largest and busiest hospitals.
Dr. Ramdev's extensive clinical experience includes all aspects of arterial and venous surgery, as well as minimally invasive / endovascular procedures. Dr. Ramdev specializes in open and endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, endovascular repair of thoracic aortic aneurysms, endovascular treatment and bypass surgery for peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery surgery, and minimally invasive non-surgical treatment of varicose veins.
